Whitewater rafting is a great activity that has become more common around the world since the 1970s. There are six different whitewater classifications that range from easy to nearly impossible. Class one is, obviously, the easiest. It has no obstacles, only small ripples, and a slow current. Class two is considered moderately difficult with occasional obstacles and a medium current with waves. Classes one and two are ideal for younger and inexperienced people to run on. Class three is difficult with longer rapids and strong currents that are irregular, and class four is very difficult, longer with numerous waves, and has steeper drops. These two classes, three and four, are considered okay for more experienced groups to take. Class five is extremely difficult, has very big drops, is very swift, and heavily obstructed with obstacles, which is considered an amateur class. Then there is class six. This class is nearly impossible and extremely dangerous. It should only be run by expert teams, with all precautions taken and close studies completed.
Maine has three rivers that are usually used for whitewater rafting. These are the Kennebec River, Penobscot River, and the Dead River. Each one of the these rivers are different and unique in their own way, but you are sure to get the thrill and excitement that you seek for your adventure on at least one of these rivers. The Kennebec River has a twelve mile trip that begins on Indian Pond at Harris Station. It then flows through the Kennebec Gorge, which ends at The Forks. This twelve mile trip can be classified anywhere between a class two and a class four, because in sections of the river there are all of the traits that these classifications have. Next, is the Penobscot River, and this river has a fourteen mile long trip. For the first two miles, it descends from McKay Station through Ripogenus Gorge. The other twelve miles of rapids will take you on a journey that will end near Pockwockamus Falls. This river has all the traits of a class three to class four rapids. Last, but not least, is the Dead River, which has the longest stretch of continuous rapids at sixteen miles. Your trip will begin at Grand Falls and will end at The Forks. The Dead River has a classification of classes four and five and should only be run by experienced whitewater rafters.

How to Get a Good Start When Drag Racing ATVs and Dirt Bikes
Ever wonder how some people with slower machines consistently beat the faster machines they drag race against? It is all about getting the right start, or getting that perfect “hole shot” as some people would call it. But it does take a little practice in order to master this drag racing technique. When it comes to drag racing, it is safe to say that the take off is the single most important factor that you will need to get learn to perfect.
So what is the most important thing that you can do to get a great takeoff when drag racing? Simply put, it is the clutch, or better yet, the proper USAGE of the clutch. Seems like a simple enough concept right? Well, it is a fairly simple concept, yes, but it is also one of those things that certainly takes some time to master. So what do you want to do with the clutch? You want to let it slip for the first few feet, rather than just letting it engage instantly, or shortly after you let it out. If you let the clutch out to fast when drag racing it always ends up giving you the same negative results, which are generally excessive spinning or excessive front end lift, both of which usually guarantee that your opponent will get the win.
The best way to take off is always to give the machine a lot of gas, but do NOT let the clutch out all the way. Rather than just letting the clutch engage right off the bat, let it grab to the point where the tires of your ATV (or dirt bike) come slightly off the ground, or the rear tire starts to spin. At this point just keep letting it out slowly, but not all of the way out, until the engine is almost to the end of its power (or “power band”). I know this may not sound like much, but it is critical to get the optimal clutch slippage when you first take off. Once you have let the clutch all of the way out, the rest is easy: just keep shifting. At this point, it is all up to the power of your machine, not your driving skill.
Also, another great tip is to start off in second gear. Sounds strange, right? Well, believe it or not, this can be HIGHLY effective, as it gives you a much longer range of power, and allows you to slip the clutch for a longer period of time before having to let it all the way out. It also makes for smoother and softer power delivery, which means that you machine will get better traction, and will not be trying to go over backwards on you as easy.
What I recommend is that you practice the technique outline above quite a few times before you jump in and start actually drag racing. This is by far the most critical thing to master when it comes to drag racing.

What if We Got the Wrong Accel sets?
For those who do not know how to use the spark plugs from Accel, we will glad to know the information, so keep on reading. When we already ordeer two kits or sets of spark plugs that we can buy from www.jegs.com/v/Accel/114 , if we got the wrong sets, do not worry either. If we need the 0437S plugs, what we will need is 8197 kit. But if we are looking for the0576S plugs, we will need the 8199 kit.
If we bought the 8197 plugs of Accel for our International Harvester 304cid engie, the 0437S plugs cross over to the Champion RJ12YC and Autolite 85s. The right Autolite plug fr the International SV8 is #85. Maybe the book says it is #303, but almost 90% of the people who used 303s can prove that it was not the right plug and 85 is the extreme condition plug.
We will also have great acceleration by using Accel spark plug. We just have to choose the right one and make sure the distributor send the right kits or sets. When we got the wrong sets, we can complain to the distributor and ask for a change. Good luck in having our spark plugs products.
