Stephon Heyer was born in January 16, 1984 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Considered as an offensive American football tackle, Heyer currently plays for the Oakland Raiders in the NFL. Before joining the Oakland Raiders, he played for the Redskins as an undrafted free agent back in 2007.
Stephon Heyer is a tough and experienced tackler who plays majorly in the offensive line. He is athletic and his powerful body helps him to tackle and find way against his competitors when on the field. Not only does he win with effort, he is also skilled on the best tactics to use when in challenging situations. Although his balancing is average when on the field, Steven Heyer totally understands the angles to use to improve the balancing and push forward. Heyer graduated from Brookwood High School in 2002. During his school years, he was a letter winner for two consecutive years even though he had never played football before the wins. Much later, he managed to add at least 100 pounds. This largely helped him become a professional athlete for the school. With the right physique, Heyer helped Brookwood secure a 5-5 record in 2001, which was then the highest mark the college had ever reached. After his graduation, he was recruited to Georgia, Michigan, Clemson, Arkansas, Ohio State, Florida, Alabama, Aurbun, Kentucky and Vanderbilt.
Over the years, Heyer has played more than 50 professional games with an average of 37 left tackles. During his early professional football years, he managed to secure dozens of honorable mentions such as an All ACC Linesman. In 2004, Steven Heyer started in all 11 games at left tackle and was the best linesman during that season. The many games he featured in helped him to improve his skills and competence which later assisted him secure a spot in the Hula Bowl games.
In 2006, Heyer got an honorable mention when he displayed a game of prowess in the All ACC games. This show helped him earn a slot in the ESPN’s All Team’s performance during the famous Champs Sports Bowl. Heyer did this through the help of other well respected players like Edwin Williams and Lance Ball.
Stephon Heyer wears a size 22 sneaker when he is not on a game. However, on the pitch, he likes squeezing into a size 18.
